Winter ’14 Restaurant Week

S and I tried the new Garces restaurant/diner with Cuban flair for restaurant week in January. With Rosa Blanca, Garces completely transformed the space formerly held by Chifa. The options and portion sizes for restaurant week were above average, and the atmosphere is romantic or eclectic depending on where you’re seated, but all good. Here are a few photos of just the apps (swordfish ceviche for S and ham croquettes for me) and the romantic table light.
