Day 9 – Las Herrerias to Triacastelo
We left early from Las Herrerias hoping to tackle a steep climb before the sun came up. Success! This stage and a half was 30.4 km, heading up to a height of 1,200 m and back down. Triacastelo is a gorgeous small town in Galicia. We thought we would never make it in one day, and stopped to drink and eat a lot – or just to let the cows go by.
