Day 12 – Portomarin to Palas de Rey

By the end of the day, walking over a molehill really does feel like climbing a mountain. 🙂 There is a picture of a magical whimsical garden that reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, with a whinnying pony to greet you as you walk by and ducks waddling around a three-tiered fountain.

(update after the trip: This leg was about 25 km, going uphill the first part of the trip and then evening out at the end. I found more information on it for you here: https://santiago-compostela.net/camino-frances/28-from-portomarin-to-palas-de-rei/)
