Day 10 – Triacastela to Sarria
Triacastela to Sarria is close to 20 km but we cut it a few km short at an albergue that has fulfilled its promise as an “oasis of tranquility.” The walk in Galicia involves a lot of smells – sometimes wild chamomile, but most of the time cow pies and other farm scents – accompanied by many flies, which are a nuisance when you’re breathing hard walking up and down the mountains.
