Chester the Cat
Last year, I took Sebi to Milky Way farm to pick pumpkins and picked up a signed copy of Chester the Gristmill Cat. He LOVES the book, and so I took him to the mill at Anselma (the grist mill from the book) to look for Chester. Big mistake! Chester was obviously not there, being a fictional character, but my son was obsessed with finding him and helping him catch the mouse. Oops! I had to break it to Sebi that Chester was on vacation in the South of France for the summer, so he settled for finding mouse holes and then writing a message to Chester to tell him where they are at the mill. Despite all this, I absolutely loved the visit. It’s a beautiful, functional mill with a lot of history.
