Pilgrims Mass at the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela
I happened to sit next to two Argentine ladies. The mass was not longer than normal, with great acoustics, some listing of the origins of each of the pilgrims there that day. The highlight was a giant incense burner that they swung at the end. I heard this tradition began to combat the smell of so many tired pilgrims gathered in the cathedral over the centuries.
